It may surprise fans of the series that I have chosen this game to represent the franchise. Many people bemoan the shift in gameplay from strict survival horror to an action game facade. However, I feel those criticisms are completely unfounded. (At least in reference to 4, don’t get me started on 5 and 6). I had my misgivings as well. Oftentimes I was forced to sneak past the ubiquitous creatures that inhabit the building which can be absolutely nerve wracking.
